Privacy Policy — MUNG (iOS)
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what data the MUNG app collects and how it is used on Apple iOS. It also covers in-app purchases using Apple’s StoreKit and the use of advertising SDKs (e.g., AdMob) when enabled.
2. Data we collect
- App usage & performance data: screen views, session length, crashes, diagnostics.
- Purchase information: product identifiers, transaction status, subscription state (via StoreKit).
- Device information: device model, OS version, and anonymous identifiers such as IDFV.
- Advertising data (AdMob, including Rewarded Ads): ad requests, impressions, reward grants, and basic interaction signals. We do not receive your name, email, or precise location from ads.
We do not collect sensitive categories (health, financial, biometric) and we do not sell personal data.
3. How we use data
- Operate core features (rendering effects, settings, content access).
- Process purchases and manage subscription status.
- Diagnose crashes, prevent fraud/abuse, and improve stability and UX.
- Provide and measure advertising experiences, including AdMob Rewarded Ads.
4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS, if any SDK requests tracking across apps/websites not owned by us, we will ask for your permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before such tracking occurs.
- If you deny, the app remains usable; tracking-based features are disabled or limited.
- You can change your decision anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. Third‑party SDKs / partners
We may integrate the following providers in the iOS build of the app:
- Apple StoreKit (subscriptions & purchases)
- Google AdMob and mediation adapters (e.g., Unity Ads) for ads, including Rewarded Ads
- Crash/analytics: Apple diagnostics and/or third-party crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics)
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
6. Subscriptions & purchases (StoreKit)
- Auto-renewing subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID.
- Auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Free trials convert to paid unless canceled before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

7. Data retention
- Purchase records: retained as required for accounting and fraud prevention.
- Crash/analytics data: retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and trends.
- We anonymize or aggregate where feasible.
8. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age required by local law. If you believe we collected data from a child without proper consent, contact us to remove it.
9. Your choices
- ATT tracking consent: allow/deny in the system Settings.
- Advertising: you may receive non-personalized ads if tracking is off.
- Access/Deletion: contact us at sung@sunglab.com. We’ll assist to the extent we control the data (Apple controls App Store purchase records).
10. Platform differences (Android vs iOS)
This document describes the iOS app. For Android (Google Play), we follow Google’s requirements (e.g., UMP consent). A separate Android-specific policy is provided on our website.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or on our website.
